Arundells is honoured to host a talk by Barbara Hosking CBE: ‘Working with Edward Heath and Harold Wilson.’

Barbara Hosking has led a remarkable life. A scholarship girl from Cornwall, she rose to work closely with both Harold Wilson and Edward Heath at 10 Downing Street.

In addition to serving as a Whitehall press officer, Barbara’s career has taken her from an East African copper mine to the birth of British breakfast television.

At the age of 91, she ‘came out’ through the medium of her autobiography: ‘Exceeding My Brief – Memoirs of a Disobedient Civil Servant.

Tickets for this event cost £20. Guests are invited to arrive from 6.30pm for a complimentary glass before the talk, which starts  at 7pm.
