'The Sir Edward Heath - A Life Beyond Politics' DVD is now available to buy for £5.00
A 53 minute film which gives an intimate portrait of the man as opposed to the politician, shot in 2000 at his home in Salisbury by international director Bryan Forbes and narrated by his wife Nanette Newman, covering many aspects of his early life. After winning an organ scholarship for Oxford University, he cemented his lifelong love of music and in later years, became a respected conductor.
After serving with distinction for his country in the Second World War, he eventually stood for Parliament and became an MP. The film describes how he was introduced to sailing and, as a novice, went on to win a major race first time out in the original Morning Cloud.
The film presents a frank look at a private and often misunderstood man who rose from a humble background to the highest office in the land.
We can also post these on to you (+£2.00 p&p), please use PayPal. All Cheques made payable to 'The Sir Edward Heath Charitable Foundation' or phone the booking line with credit card details.
