There is no car parking available at Arundells and only very limited parking within the Cathedral Close. Please use one of the Salisbury Park and Ride sites or one of the many pay and display car parks that are located around the City
Toilet facilities (including an accessible toilet for disabled visitors) are available at The Rifles Museum (immediately adjoining Arundells) at no additional charge.
The garden is level and accessible to all – including wheelchair users – dependent upon ground and weather conditions.
Visitor Reception and The Exhibition Room are both on one level and accessible to wheelchair users.
The ground floor of the house is level and accessible, this allowing access to the sailing hall, the drawing room, the dining room, the library and connecting corridor. There are five stone steps up to the front door and a ramp is provided for wheelchair access.
The only show rooms within the house that are not accessible to wheelchair users are the upper landing, the study, the ‘Heath the Soldier’ exhibition, the conference room and the lower cartoon corridor.
Well behaved dogs are permitted within the garden, but must be kept on leads at all times.
Guide and Special Assistance dogs are welcome within the house.
Photography – You are welcome to take photographs, but please do NOT use flash photography within the house.
CCTV cameras are in operation throughout the property for protection and security monitoring.
Smoking is strictly prohibited within all the buildings.
